Glass Bongs, Beakers and Water Pipes

Picking a bong comes down to how you like to smoke. Some people want a small bong that’s quick to pack and easy to stash. Others want a tall percolator piece that cools every hit before it reaches them. This collection has all of it, from budget-friendly glass to thick, heavy pieces built to last for years.

We carry bongs from Gear Premium, Red Eye Glass, Red Eye Tek, Castle Glass Works and Cheech & Chong, plus silicone and acrylic options. If you’re not sure where to start, here’s a quick rundown of the main styles and sizes.

Types of Bongs

Beaker Bongs

A beaker bong has a cone-shaped base that sits low and wide. That shape makes it hard to knock over and leaves room for more water, which helps smooth out each hit. If you’re buying your first bong, a beaker is a safe bet.

Straight Tube Bongs

Straight tubes run in one line from the base to the mouthpiece, so smoke moves fast and clears in one pull. They’re easy to clean and hit hard. The narrow base makes them easier to tip, so give them a solid spot on the table.

Percolator Bongs

A percolator is an extra piece of glass inside the bong that splits smoke into lots of small bubbles. More bubbles means more contact with water, so the smoke comes out cooler and smoother. Tree percs, honeycomb discs and showerhead percs all do the same job in slightly different ways. The trade-off is a bit more drag and more spots to clean.

Dual Chamber and Bubble Base Bongs

Dual chamber bongs pass smoke through two separate water chambers for extra filtration. Bubble bases hold more water than a standard beaker. Both are good picks if smoothness matters more to you than speed.

Gravity Bongs

Glass gravity bongs work differently from a regular water pipe. As the water moves, it draws smoke into the chamber, then pushes it out when you’re ready to inhale. It’s a big hit, so start small.

Silicone and Acrylic Bongs

LIT silicone bongs can take a drop without cracking, which makes them a solid pick for the cottage, road trips or a backup piece. They’re easy to rinse out too.

Acrylic bongs are lightweight, inexpensive and tough. Acrylic is also common for extra-tall bongs, since it’s light and won’t shatter. Glass still gives the cleanest taste, but acrylic is hard to beat if you want something cheap and durable.

How to Choose the Right Bong

Once you know which style you like, these three things will narrow it down.

Small Bongs vs Tall Bongs

Size changes how a bong hits.

Small and mini bongs (under about 10 inches) have less chamber space, so smoke reaches you quickly and stays fresh. They’re easy to pack away and great for solo sessions.

Mid-size bongs in the 12 to 16 inch range are the sweet spot for most people. There’s enough room for a percolator without the piece getting awkward to handle.

Tall bongs of 18 inches and up give smoke more time to cool, and the bigger chamber means bigger hits. We also carry big bongs in the 3 to 5 foot range for when you want something that gets a reaction. Just know that anything over a couple of feet usually needs a second person to light the bowl.

Glass Thickness: What 5mm, 7mm and 9mm Mean

You’ll see thickness listed on a lot of our glass. Standard bongs are usually around 5mm thick. 7mm and 9mm glass is heavier and much more forgiving if your bong takes a knock against the table. If you want a piece that lasts, thicker glass from brands like Gear Premium and Castle Glass Works is worth the extra money.

Cheap Bongs vs Premium Bongs

Looking for cheap bongs in Canada? You don’t have to spend a lot to get a good piece. Smaller glass from brands like Retro Glass and Red Eye Glass, plus silicone bongs, keep the price down. Our sale section is worth checking for marked-down glass too.

Spending more usually gets you thicker glass, better percolators and more detailed work. If you smoke every day, a premium bong pays off because it holds up better over time.

Upgrade Your Setup

A few add-ons make any bong better. An ash catcher traps ash and resin before it reaches the main chamber, so your water stays fresh longer. Bong bowls and downstems wear out or break over time, so it’s handy to keep a spare. If your parts don’t fit together, an adapter can bridge different joint sizes. For travel, a padded bong bag keeps your glass in one piece.

You’ll find everything else in bong parts. Smoke concentrates too? Take a look at our dab rigs.

Every order ships discreetly across Canada. If you want help choosing, contact us and tell us how you like to smoke.
